Resident in this Land

Resident is a phrase used to describe birds that do not migrate, but rather remain in a specific location throughout all seasons. In this projection, animals are seen walking around the room or in a small screen, wearing a yellow color reminiscent of a safety vest. The found footage was edited heavily, disassembled and distorted. In the soundtrack, an encyclopaedic description of the presented animals is heard, followed by a poem by the poet David Avidan titled "Lost War."
